A disconnect event sent via Open Messaging for active conversation

We have implemented Open Messaging via a custom Chat UI for integration with Genesys Cloud, when a new messaging interaction is routed to an agent, we are seeing a disconnect event (disconnectType:Client) is sent back to the Open Messaging client despite the fact the agent has NOT ended the conversation. We have seen several examples and the timing is very similar, normally around 3 minutes after the interaction is accepted by the agent. Has anyone experienced this? There are only two participants in the conversation so cannot determine what is happening.
