Amazon Lex - Response Cards not working

Hi, when testing an Amazon Lex chat bot with response cards they work fine in the Amazon console, however they don't work when using the Lex integration in a Web Chat flow.
Is there any restriction for implementing response cards with the Lex integration?

Thank you.

Just in case, I'm talking about this:

Hi Henry,

When you say they are not working could you provide some more detail. Are they failing with any kind of error message. Any details would help as I am trying to track down some resources who might be able to help you answer your question.

Thanks,
John

Hi John, basically if in Amazon Lex you send a response as a regular message, it works fine, you get that message in the PureCloud Web Chat using the integration, however if in Amazon Lex you select "Enable response card" in order to send the response using response cards (instead of a regular message) you see nothing in the PureCloud web chat, it's like the bot didn't send any response.

The idea with the response cards is to present buttons to users. Clicking a button returns the button value to Lex, which can elicit another intent. That way the chat users don't need to type their responses.

Thanks.

Hi Henry,

I just got done talking with the Dev team who owns webchat with lex integration. They currently do not support response cards. They ignore any messages from them. They did communicate that they have talked about in the future do some work around the response cards. If this is something you are interested in, I would encourage you to open a feature request in our Aha! portal. (https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/)

Thanks,

OK John, thanks for your help. Now that you mentioned to submit the idea, I found out that there's already a request for that:
