Architect Bot - Get Incoming chat messages

Hello,

I've come across this link ( https://developer.genesys.cloud/forum/t/customer-messages-in-a-inbound-chat-flow/7652 )
which says it is currently not possible to add integration with a 3rd party bot.

My question would be, how did Google Dialogflow and Amazon Lex create their integration to make it possible? I am currently able to call my third party chat bot through Data Action. The only problem is that Inbound chat flows don't stay alive for the whole chatting session, aka. we cannot get the incoming chat messages and loop to wait for incoming messages. How were they able to achieve this (keep the flow alive and get incoming messages)?

PS: I know it is a broad question. I just want to know why this is a limitation since it has been asked quite a few times on the forum already. Are there any possible ways to get through that limitation without being restricted within Genesys Cloud's capabilities (Integrations by major vendor like Amazon, Google and Genesys bot)?

Genesys built the integrations into Amazon, Google and their own bot platform and then published them. a Generic Bot Connector is in beta https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CLSELF-I-242 . The comments note you can email to request this is added to your org to test.
