AWS EventBridge - How Low Can We Go?

I've been reading up on this soon-to-be-released GC integration (via AppFoundry) and am curious whether we will be able to get notification of GC's microservice events. One specific use case: when users were unable to login due to an outage, we were notified via the usual email process (typically 15 - 25 minutes later). We'd like to be more proactive and have immediate visibility into these types of events which impact our users. This will help us avoid an avalanche of internal queries & tickets prior to our notification. Thanks!

Hi there! The EventBridge integration currently supports all of the same events as the notification service - with the exception of conversation events, which we will support before GA release of EventBridge.

In the future, we may emit events to EventBridge as you describe above, but we have a feature in development now that may meet your needs much sooner. Please see https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CLINB-I-475 for details and progress.

Thank you!

Thanks Becky! CLINB-I-475 looks like a great step forward for real time alerts when the current set of monitored parameters exceed defined thresholds. Do you anticipate adding real time alerts for things like AWS events that are normally transparent to system admins? A recent example: the Genesys Cloud Incident ('Elevated Error Rates: Americas (US West) / New incident: Identified /Elevated error rates have been identified in the Americas (US West) region. Any users logged into the system should not log out or refresh at this time. / Next update 4:15 ET. / Time posted Mar 16, 15:52 EDT").
