Behavior in the event of a failure in the LINE messaging feature

A customer of mine is implementing LINE Messaging and is investigating the impact of a failure with this feature.
My understanding is that if there is an interaction in progress when the failure occurs, the agent will not be able to send a message. A related feature is the Messaging threading timeline, but do you know if this feature works fine even during failures?
