I am using the reconnect example which appears to be working in test. When I type a message and then navigate to a new page the isAutoJoined is fired as expected but the message I typed is gone and the frame generally is now blank.
Is this the expected behaviour? Is there a way to retrieve the conversation? I don't really want to do the iframe solution here

Yes, the customer should see the chat history after reconnect. Make sure you've done all 4 steps listed under Chat reconnects in the webchat docs. My guess is you may not be doing #3 before #2.

Basically I have created 2 copies of the example in the docs and added a link between the two. So the order of items is as per the example.
Apologies Tim and thanks again for your help. We wired up the example to our actual instance of the chat queue and all is well.
