On a page refresh/reload or on a change of page (page with the widgets enabled), the WebChat window is only "re-opened" if the chat session/interaction is still active.
If the chat interaction is already ended, then the WebChat doesn't try to reopen the window again.
WebChat Widget does not try to re-establish the webchat session as it is already terminated, and it does not display the transcript of this terminated chat conversation.
I can't think of a widgets configuration or a widgets-only customization to change this.
