Control Outbound Caller Id on blind transfer

I am working with a prospect that wants to dynamically control the caller id for for an outbound blind and consult transfers. Transfers are initiated from a custom script . Looks like blind transfers always use the CallerId of the incoming call. Consult transfers always use the DID assigned to the agent.
This post has a nice workaround for the Consult Transfers but I am stuck on the Blind transfer piece
