Customize Desktop App

Hello,

I am new to Genesys Cloud. I was told WebRTC can be used with both Desktop App and web browsers. I would like to know how much customization is supported with the desktop app? By customization I am referring:

  1. Pull the data from external sources such as Salesforce and present them within the desktop app.
  2. If the above is supported, is there a limit on how much of the external data can be pulled and presented within the desktop app?
  3. For each of the data fields presented, have custom business rules deployed.
  4. How much of the look and feel within the desktop app can be customized?

You cannot customize the Genesys Cloud UI. But you can build whatever you want and embed it as a client app About Client Application integrations - Genesys Cloud Resource Center.
