Hello I was hoping to get some insight from developers out there.
When we decommission a service we have a specific process we go thru to off-board the phone number assigned and if they had their own queue(s) we eventually remove them as well if they were exclusive to that client. Routing Skills in our org are almost always client-specific.
Where I was hoping to better understand it to people who have deprecated in a similar fashion what do you do with the skills? Do you delete them? if yes what impact if any does that have on historical reporting?
Just looking for some best practices to avoid data loss for the required data retention and desired historical summary period that follows after decommissioning.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. The more specific the better.
