Description
Genesys is deprecating the Native LINE third-party messaging channel. As part of the full LINE deprecation we are deprecating the LINE API endpoint. Ultimately, LINE integrations will not be able to be created, updated, or deleted, and existing LINE integrations will not be able to send or receive messages of any kind.
Planned timeline of changes:
- November 29th, 2023 - UI will be restricted to disable the ability to create LINE integrations
- February 1st, 2024 - API will be disabled to create LINE integrations. For more information see this announcement.
- April 24th, 2024 - APIs for all LINE capabilities will be disabled

Significant investment is needed to continue to support the Native LINE third-party messaging channel and there is historically low usage with LINE messaging. Therefore Genesys had decided to deprecate the Native LINE messaging capabilities.
Change Impact
Once we remove the APIs from service, you will no longer be able to create, update, or delete LINE Integrations via the APIs and will no longer be able to send or receive messages of any kind on existing LINE integrations.
