Deprecation: FAQ and Contact modules in Knowledge Portal/Support Center

Description

Currently, SupportCenterModuleSetting[].type in a knowledge portal (previously support center) can have the following types:

  • Search
  • Categories
  • FAQ
  • Contact
  • Results
  • Article
  • TopViewedArticles

We are deprecating FAQ and Contact.

Change Context

FAQ module was reworked as Top Viewed Articles.

Contact module is not part of knowledge portal.

For these reasons, we want to notify customers not to use them, since they have no effect.

Change Impact

This change will not impact customers; it will only provide a warning that using these is not recommended
