We are replacing the POST /api/v2/conversations/messaging/integrations/whatsapp API with the POST /api/v2/conversations/messaging/integrations/whatsapp/embeddedsignup API. As such, we are marking the legacy API as deprecated.
Change Impact
We are embedding a new onboarding flow in Genesys Cloud to allow for a streamlined signup process. This way, customers do not need to leave Genesys Cloud to signup and can get up and running on WhatsApp instantly. With this new feature, customers own their WhatsApp Business Accounts and share access to it directly with Genesys as part of the signup flow.
