Detect a Users IP Address and Post to Agent

We are building out web messaging for one of our support teams and in our current platform, we have it set to show the agents what the IP address of the user is in case they are chatting in from one of our remote environments instead of their local machine so they can advise them to chat back in on their local machine.

Is this a possibility in Genesys Web Messaging?

We currently don't support the feature you are asking for in Web Messaging.

In the meantime, you could probably attach client IP in a custom attribute from the client app and use this info in Automate or display on Agent side.
