This is an update to all our social media channels, iconography and descriptions. Following the availability of this feature the call logging descriptions will be updated:
Call logging subject:
- "Twitter DM {{date}}" will now be "X (Twitter) {{date}}"
- "Facebook message {{date}}" will now be "Facebook {{date}}"
- "Instagram DM {{date}}" will now be "Instagram {{date}}"
Customers who wish to differentiate between types of message should use this attribute 'Message.Type' which continue to follow the existing names (Type of message interaction. Values: facebook, line, sms, twitter, whatsapp, webmessaging)

This is a global change by Genesys Cloud to update to the correct naming conventions for different social media messages.
Change Impact
Customers using call logging subject name to reference different message types should use the 'Message.Type' attribute instead so that their custom functions are not affected.
