Export recordings - Call ID Formatting

Hello,

we export the call recordings to one of our vendors via our XML script.
We have noticed a formatting discrepancy for the Call ID on numerous calls. The metadata within the Call ID field reads "sip:645cf9431960f41a7c35333d+creditllc.orgspan.com@localhost",
"direction": "outbound",

what scenarios result in the "sip" formatted values vs "ani" value.
Also mentioned above that it does looks like "sip" is when we have an agent outbound call if that helps.

I think the open question is to understand what types of calls have the sip format for Call ID

Thanks
Sardar Mohammed

Agent initiated and Dialer initiated outbound calls are inherently SIP calls and will have a SIP URI format applied to them for the initiating contact center leg of the call. The customer leg of the outbound call should display a PSTN phone number of the person being called.

Inbound calls received over the PSTN will have a regular phone number.

Inbound calls received over a BYOC trunk will usually have a SIP identifier as well.
