Genesys AppFoundry No Longer Accepting Apps?

Hi,

I’ve been developing on the Genesys platform for over 20 years, and I recently completed an application that I was hoping to publish on AppFoundry. However, when I reached out to our Genesys representative for guidance on the publishing process, I was informed that Genesys is changing its policy and will now only accept "premium apps" from "premium clients."

It seems that there are currently no clear guidelines on what qualifies as a "premium client," and until those guidelines are established, it won’t be possible to submit my product to AppFoundry.

This situation has left me quite confused, and I would greatly appreciate any clarity or additional information other developers can share on how they plan to move forward.

I am not involved in AppFoundry but used to.

I think that was meant is that:

• you need to be an AppFoundry partner to be authorized to publish applications on the AppFoundry market place. Here is a page on the AppFoundry site to request to join as an AppFoundry partner. There is also a link to the AppFoundry ISV Partner Onboarding Guide. It is still the one from 2024 and will likely be updated in the coming month(s) for 2025.
• it needs to be an application which will be invoiced to the customer via a subscription model (I mean no free applications). It can either be sold via AppFoundry and invoiced by Genesys on your behalf, or invoiced by the Partner (if it is still available in 2025). It involves revenue sharing.

If you "Register to be a Genesys Partner" (Tech/AppFoundry), this will initialize a process with the AppFoundry OnBoarding/Support team.
