Genesys Architect API Questions

I wanted to ask about the capabilities of the Architect API to create a custom workflow. We have created our call flows using the genesys cloud user interface, which works well, but can be a highly tedious and repetitive process when making modifications. For example, when creating a new menu option corresponding to a caller's language, we have to validate the previous menu items and add audio prompts for all supported languages. I wanted to use the API and run a batch process on a csv file containing our new configuration, however, I am observing that the actions supported by the Architect API seem to be limited. For example, creating a new menu and adding menu options seems to not be supported, as well as adding audio playback, etc. Would anyone be able to provide some insight on the capabilities/limitations of the API vs the Genesys Cloud UI?
