Genesys cloud salesforce connector and agent script

Hi Dev forum ,

I have a script that shows an agent an alert (using scripter.alert) if he has spent too long(40 minutes or more) on an interaction . WHile it is working on the chrome browser , same script does not show an alert when we are using genesys cloud salesforce connector (embedded genesys cloud inside salesforce ).

What could be the issues?

Also, any custom agent script takes some time to load .
