Get IMSI from pstn-network through trunk, edge and into arcitecht

Hi

We have a rising security threat as we are a telco operator. We are seeing scammers pretending to be a given customer calling from a given number. The number is only a display though, and can be altered very easily from any pc.

Is it possible to get the IMSI-number data with the call when it comes through our purecloud edges? Right now we only have DNIS and ANI.

If we have the IMSI we can see if it is really the customer or not.

I'm not aware of that information being exposed anywhere, but you can open a case with PureCloud Care to investigate if there's any way to configure your edges to make it available.
