User agents from Mac devices will have their derived value from the beacon represented as “Mac OS” rather than as it is currently derived “Mac OS X”
When customers avail of Predictive Engagement they place a tracking snippet on their website. This returns information about visitors to their website to the Genesys platform. Customer attributes are part of the information passed back on the beacon. One of these attributes is the “OS Family” attribute. This attribute returns the family of Operating System that the customer is browsing the website on.
In Predictive Engagement, orgs can define Segments, which are ways of identifying a group of customers based on their attributes and behavior. Outcomes can also be defined, which are goals that orgs are keen for their customers to achieve. As part of the creation of Segments and Outcomes at least one condition needs to be defined. “OS Family” could be used as a condition.

Change Impact
If an org has a condition created for “OS Family” which has a value “Mas OS X” this will be impacted by the update. The org should change the value from “Mac OS X” to “Mac OS” in order for the condition to remain valid.
The tech lead has checked all orgs with Segments and Outcomes defined using the condition for “OS Family” and there are none created with the value “Mac OS X”. So there is no expected impact to customers.
