Handling 3rd party TTS errors in Architect

Hello everyone

We are planning on migrating our client's IVR to flows to use a third party TTS engine (Google TTS) because pt-pt is not currently available with Genesys native TTS engine.

We want to make sure that the IVR gives some feedback to the users in case there's something wrong in the TTS integration. To accomplish this we configured the error event handler on the flow to play a user prompt (using genesys engine) and to transfer to call another flow.

However, if we disable Google's service account (or enter bad credentials in the integration) in order to simulate an error, the call is immediately disconnected. It seems like, when the engine fails, the call flow does not run into whatever we configure in the error event handler.

Can someone help us figure it out?
