Has Anyone Integrated Collaborate Chat Notifications with GitLab?

Hi guys,

We have a client who is trying to connect a Collaborate Chat Notification webhook, but they are attempting to do it from GitLab, and the notifications are not working. The documentation clearly states, "Genesys Cloud supports webhook integrations with these third-party systems." and within the list, GitHub is included, but not GitLab.

My question is whether anyone has managed to do this from GitLab in a more "generic" way or something like that or if there are definitive restrictions, such as domain limitations, for GitLab.

Thanks

There are bespoke webhook integrations for the systems listed, as well as a Generic Webhook integration: Set up an integration using the Generic Webhook - Genesys Cloud Resource Center. The generic webhook requires you to have some measure of control over the payloads being delivered from your system; not being very familiar with GitLab, I'm unsure if that control is available to you, but this would be the mechanism that needs to be used.

If that doesn't work for you, we are in active development of a bit of a revamp to our webhooks offer, designed to be used in conjunction with our Triggers/workflows. Shortly after we release this, we'll be extending workflow capabilities to offer chat notifications, giving you more control over payload manipulation within the workflow to allow for a broader range of systems to utilize our UCC chat notifications.
