Help required in load testing the genesys cloud IVR application

Hi team,

We would like to perform some kind of load testing to simulate voice calls on Genesys Cloud platform . Is there any API in genesys Cloud available to accomplish this task, these are steps in testing.

  • Make a call

  • Press right IVR options programmatically

Is there any 3rd party software or cloud testing tools to accomplish this task in case if Genesys Cloud doesn't have any APIs.

Hi,

With some development, you could use Asterisk call files and the SendDTMF function to perform your load testing. Obviously, you must have a working outbound trunk setup in your Asterisk server and sized to support your load testing requirements.

@Gowthami_R1 You must not perform any load testing on the platform without pre-approval. Conducting unauthorized load testing may result in the suspension of your org as it may be construed as executing a DDoS attack on the Genesys Cloud platform. Please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to discuss and seek approval for your load testing plans prior to conducting any testing.
