How to get real time stream of text messages to a backend?

I need to have a backend monitor and analyze a chat conversation's messages in real time (specifically the texts written by the customer). What options can I use to deliver the messages to the backend in real time? An application similar to Audio Hook Monitors, a notification topic, or something else?

Please help.
