How to setup a specific Content Profile for messenger

We are working to deploy messenger functionality on one of our business websites and have encountered an issue.
We already run whatsapp channel and it is using a specific content profile but now we want to setup a new content profile that is specific for messenger. I created a new content profile but can't see there being any way I can link it to the messenger configuration/deployment.
This is also important to figure out as we will shortly be working on another messenger configuration/deployment for a different team and their content need are different.

Hi Vineet,

Current attachment support for web messaging is limited to jpg, png, and gif. This is enabled/disabled directly on the Messenger Configuration.

We do have work in progress to allow for additional file types through the use of supported content profiles, this will be releasing in the coming months. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Idea status for this feature.

Thanks Chad for the reply.
What we have encountered is an issue and I have already raised a support ticket for it.

On the Whatsapp content profile (linked to whatsapp setup), we restrict all images & documents. This is not our default content profile.
Out default content profile allows images.

On the messenger setup, we have enabled use of images by agents & customers. With this agents & customers can send/receive images but actually both just see an icon of the image and not the image itself. Then when we enable the images on our whatsapp content profile (only linked to whatsapp setup), the images on messenger start to work for both agent & customer.

So I think there is an issue where the messenger is picking the content profile of another messenger app (in this case whatsapp) without have an explicit referene to it.
