How to unset a phone number when using clickToDial

I'm using this documentation: https://developer.genesys.cloud/platform/embeddable-framework/actions/clickToDial to show a phone number in the embeddable framework

If I pass in a number, it works fine. But we have a use case where sometimes we need to clear out the phone number we set using this function. Pass in an empty string into this function doesn't seem to work -- wondering how to clear it out in this case?
