We are currently exploring options for integrating two-way messaging functionality into our system and would like to know if Genesys offered a JavaScript API that supports this feature. Specifically, we are interested in functionality that allows us to send and receives messages programmatically. Could you please provide details on any available APIs or libraries, that would support this type of integration?

If you mean exchanging messages between your system and Genesys Cloud, so the messages are distributed to Contact Center Agents, as an inbound customer conversation, you can have a look at Open Messaging integration.
As of libraries, the API endpoints leveraged in the Open Messaging integration are available in our Platform API SDKs.
