I am hopeful there is an answer to this.
We need to set a date/time when a call is Answered (via a Script). I was using the built in variable {{Scripter.Agent Call Start Time}} and it works fine, however that seems dependent on the time zone that the answering agent is in.
We plan to ultimately do a date diff to determine how long the call waited to be answered and need the time to be consistent (ideally in EST or perhaps UTC). So in our use case, we're setting call entered first queue date/time stamp in architect and want to set an AnsweredDate when the call is ultimately answered by the agent.
Is there a way to set a current date/time variable in a script and force a specific time zone? We have agents in various time zones, so we need a way to make this consistent.
Fingers crossed. Will continue to research and investigate here as well.
