Is Web Messaging a released product or still in Beta?

We have recently been investigating Web Messaging at my company. At my company, we have one person who handles most of the communications with Genesys Cloud. When I have asked this person about setting up a test environment for Web Messaging, he has told me that we cannot, because Web Messaging is not a released product and we are not a part of the Beta program. I just want to validate this information. Is Web Messaging a product that is only available in Beta at this time?

Web Messaging has been out of Beta for some time now. Any GC org having digital channels will have Web Messaging available to them, please check our guide on how to Get started with web messaging. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick reply Chad! Also, back in January I had a discussion with Marc Massoon about Web Messaging. At that time Marc told me that Web Messaging did not support a built-in method for sending notifications to the customer's app. He said that most customers build this functionality themselves. However, he also told me that Genesys was adding this functionality to Web Messaging and that he thought it would be available in the first half of this year. Do you know anything about this that you could tell me?

We don't have any native notification system available yet, though this is something we are considering and would likely release in multiple stages when the time comes.
