Link to Developer Tools chat in Web Chat API page confused me

I'm new to these forums, and to PureCloud. I really like your solution, by the way.

Just wanted to point out I was confused when I tried and failed to access the Developer Tools from the Web Chat API page docs: https://developer.mypurecloud.com/api/webchat/

  • by pressing both the button at the top of the page (Try it Now!) and
  • the link at the end of the page (developer tools)

I was met with a login page, but failed to log in.

Turns out the links both pointed towards https://developer.mypurecloud.com, where my instance was in .ie domain.

To avoid confusing others, maybe we could clarify or improve on this?

I just submitted a change for the link at the bottom, it wasn't a relative link. Aside from that, if you start at developer.mypurecloud.ie, then all links should be relative to .ie and dev tools will log you into the correct region.

I will change my bookmark to developer.mypurecloud.ie, thanks for clarifying :grin:
