Markdown Text Formatting for Open messaging

We are using Open messaging for offer chat to our customers but we are facing a problem with text formatting when trying to let our Agents to send text from a stand alone application to the chat ongoing chat session.
Can you please help in that?
We already tried: Markdown syntax for rich text in Messenger - Genesys Cloud Resource Center
and Format text in chats - Genesys Cloud Resource Center
but nothing worked

Hello,

I don't think markdown is supported with Open Messaging at this time.
In this feature comparison, Open Messaging doesn't appear to support Rich Text.

@chad.hansen Could you please confirm or correct?
