Notify agent on end of call transferred to external number

I am pretty new to Purecloud and trying to understand if can an agent be notified about the end of the call after he transfers the call to an external number.

I'm not sure if PureCloud allows calls to be tromboned where the only participants are external parties. I did see an external trunk setting under Media > Recording called "Continue on External Bridged Transfer", which sounds like it's referring to that situation. However, that's a better question for the PureCloud Community Forum or opening a case with PureCloud Care as that relates to general system configuration.

If it turns out you can trombone the call, you'll need to have some sort of application that listens to notifications for the conversation to be able to trigger a notification. The only way to accomplish sending that notification from PureCloud would be for you to write a web app configured as a custom client app that uses the Client App SDK to show a toast popup to the agent. Of course, if you want to send the the notification to the agent outside of PureCloud, you can build whatever suits your situation.
