Office 365 e-mail account integration

Hello there,

I have an organization that needs to manage it's own domain to handle email interactions from office 365 mail box. My IT department already configured the verification record to the domain's DNS settings to verify ownership of domain but in order to start receiving email interactions, they are asking the public IP address from PureCloud service.

Someone could give me an advice to get this integration working?

Best regards,

Mario

Can you help clarify what setup you are after? If you want to handle email in PureCloud that is sent to a domain in Office 365, you have a couple options but in either case you would need to redirect the emails to PureCloud.

Here are the instructions on how to set this up: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/email-routing-scenarios/. Neither of these scenarios should require an IP address.

Let me know if this helps.

Aside from Lucie's instruction, here's the info on IP addresses used by PureCloud: https://help.mypurecloud.com/faq/public-ip-addresses-purecloud-use/

Thanks Tim and Lucie,

Working on it. What we need is to use an own domain instead of .mypurecloud.com. The domain has been already verified. After that we haven't been able to have email messages routed to a specific queue and what IT guys say is that we need to provide them the public IP address they need to configure within 365 account. I don't really think that is the reason whay we are not geting any inbound emails.

Thank you guy for your advise.

Mario

Thanks Tim and Lucie,

Problem solved!!!!
