Our org would like to start using the outbound email campaign feature of our Genesys Cloud instance.
Per the documentation we completed the work in the following steps -
In following those steps, we noted that the CNAME established is “sparkpostmail.com”. That appeared to indicate that email messages sent to our patient recipients would traverse the Spark Postmail email gateway before reaching the destination address.
Due to that, our Infosec team asked for the details I added into our support request. Without the approval of the internal Infosec team, they won’t approve the use of the outbound email campaigns.
We need their approval to allow our team that manages our DNS environment to add the requisite public-facing DNS entries called out in the documentation link above (#2).
Can any forum members or Genesys internal team members point us to the information we can use to answer these questions?
