Pre chat form and collect customer inputs in web messeging

Hi Dev forum ,

I want to know if there is a way to collect inputs from customer in a inbound messagnign flow (web messaging) WITHOUT using bot /GC digital bot flows .

Hi @garimabalodi - Bots are required to capture inbound "text messages".

The only exception would be to capture inbound metadata (rather than text messages) based on Custom Attributes / Participant Data: this can happen with Inbound Message Flow.

The part i did not get is that how can we use participant data / custome attributes in this case (i am aware how to use them otherwise )?.

say , my inbound message flows does a 'send response ' to customer as " enter your choice from 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5".
which component exactly will allow me to capture this customer response ?

or are you suggesting something else ?
