Pre-chat registration form not displaying correctly

Hi there,

We have the widget on a number of pages across a number of websites. For some reason, on one particular page on a desktop (mobile looks fine) the widget doesn't show the pre-chat registration form correctly.

Now we have copied & pasted the code other than the deployment key so it should be the same across the sites and pages. The input bars for the First Name & Last name have become smaller and you can't see what you're typing. Image attached below.

Normally it looks like this:

Can you help? Is there any code we can put in to the widget code that defines the length of these boxes or is this a bug? The only thing I see is 'maxlength' which we already have defined in the widget code or perhaps using 'wrappers' to do this but unsure how we would do this.

Hello,

One possible reason would be that the CSS (style) on your page conflicts with the one from the widget (assuming that the page having an issue uses different styles/css than in other pages).

If it is not the case or you can't find the one conflicting, I would recommend to open a ticket with Genesys Care so they can investigate and possibly help debugging.

Thank you. Yes, we found it was something in the existing CSS on the page that was messing with the webchat. Now all resolved. Thanks for your response.
