The PureCloud screen recording feature is very useful for the desktop client, but not being able to use it in the web client is a challenge. A workaround that we have uncovered is to launch the desktop client, then the native web client and screen recording works as expected with users operating in the web client.
However, we have now run into another issue when using this method for customers integrated with another platform using the PEF. For these interactions there is a 20 second delay before the start of the screen recording, which is presenting compliance issues. Why is there a delay between the triggering of the recording, and is there any way it can be forced to trigger on acceptance of the call?
