PureCloud WebChatAPI to Attach File / Upload File

Hi,
Can the PureCloud WebChatAPI do media file upload and attachment?

i.e. External guest can click to Send and Upload File / Photo from PureCloud chat widget ?

Appreciate to get some pointer on how is this achieve? Many thanks.

Hi,
I use WebChat API in Version 1.0 and 1.1 and it's not available.
In Version 2.0, Altocloud can be use and i think it's the once difference..

So I think it's not possible.

Yah... unfortunately this basic features is not available ! I do not see any web-chat API for files/media transfer.

Hope Genesys can fast track to provide this features.

It really makes more sense for customer to be able to share media files so that the chat can be meaningful.

Yep,
Maybe a Genesys employee will be able to contradict my assertion but as I am currently implementing this type of solution, I have not found a way to implement this feature, neither on the resource site , nor on the developer website.
