Summary: The Genesys Cloud Platform API Python SDK will no longer support Python 2.

Context: Official support for the Python 2 framework itself was ended January 1, 2020.

Impact: SDK consumers still using Python 2 should upgrade their application and environment to Python 3 before using any SDK version later than 117.0.0.

Date of Change: Immediately, no versions after 117.0.0 will support Python 2.

Impacted APIs:

  • All Python SDK versions after v117.0.0
