Summary: The 'Unified Communications' legacy permission has been deprecated and will be fully removed. This will not change any behavior related to the Unified Communications feature, only the legacy permission with this name.
All functionality enabled by the Unified Communications permission can currently be accessed by the conversation:call:add permission.
Context: Legacy permissions have been deprecated since January 5th, 2019, but have not yet been removed. This legacy permission has been fully replaced in functionality by the conversation:call:add permission and all references to it will be removed.

Impact: The vast majority of users with the Unified Communications legacy permission also have the conversation:call:add permission, and there will be no impact to these users.
Impacted APIs: No APIs will be impacted. Telephony controls in the web-directory and analytics clients may be impacted.
