Our client had assigned some Teams numbers to company staff and then decided against it later on they removed them. However this is not reflected in Genesys cloud and the 'other' phone type setting is greyed out in Genesys Cloud as well.
Does anyone have any luck doing this?
According to genesys's article, DDI and extension synced is difficult to be removed completely.
Warning : Be cautious when assigning phone numbers, DIDs, and extensions within Azure. Incorrectly assigned numbers can be changed, but it is difficult to remove the assigned number completely due to Azure’s SCIM implementation.
However, the response we received from devops basically said it's impossible instead of 'difficult to remove'.
I've created a purecloud idea for this to allow manual deletion just like what we do for non-Teams DDI 'other' type phone number..
