Remove/Reset Predictive Engagement Session Data

Hi I have been testing Predictive Engagement functionality browsing a website as an unknown user. I am using the Messaging snippet in all pages. When testing, I found that I was able to clear the cache and data in my browser, close the browser (Chrome), and then re-engage with the site to get the Action Maps to function. That worked for awhile and now it is not for some reason.

Is there a better way to clear session / journey data associated with an ephemeral (unknown) contact? I know that if you know the contact ID you can use the API. But, I do not know how to get the contact ID for an unknown user. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi - can you provide more details on the use-case you are trying to solve?

So, I just want to clear the journey data. The GDemo Treasure Bank site has this functionality and I would like to duplicate it so that I can test with no journey history or information.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
