Schedule Groups - need a way to get the currently active Schedule inside a Schedule Group

I"m currently stuck on a problem building a complex call routing schedule for a customer. I need a way I can check a Schedule Group and see which one of the Closed Schedules in the Closed list is "true" or "in force" , capture which one it is, get its name and place it in a variable.... I'll then use it to determine where to send the call based on that name (I've created a naming standard that contains the destination, because depending on which schedule it is the destination is different).

it sounds complex, but I really just need to be able to determine which schedule is the active one inside a Schedule Group, once I have that the rest should work for me.

This would be very useful.
Imagine how call routing would be awesome if we could select the destination flow based on the schedule that is active instead of the whole schedule group.

Even better, have the choice between the whole group (Open, for example) OR to segregate it by schedules.
