Send Web message as a User(Customer)

Is there way to send web message in genesys cloud messenger as a user/Customer(External Participant) using API.

Kindly let me know your thoughts on this!

An open messaging integration would allow you to send inbound messages as an external participant using POST /api/v2/conversations/messages/inbound/open
