Sharer initiating co-browse session

I am trying to implement co-browse in a way that the sharer will be able to initiate the session instead of the agent doing it. It says here in https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/co-browse-overview/ that co browse provides ability for agents or sharers to start a co-browse session from an existing chat interaction. I have implemented the co-browse with webchat given in https://developer.mypurecloud.com/api/cobrowse/index.html and could not find a way to do it. Could someone please tell me if there is a way to do it?

Also, I have noticed the same thing for co-browse with voice calls. Is there a way in that for the sharer to initiate session?

If you've followed the examples for cobrowse with voice and cobrowse with chat and it's not working, please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to investigate further.

Co browse is working in the way that agent clicks on screen share and the sharer can either accept or reject it. I wanted to know if sharer could have a button to start screen share and agent can accept or decline. Thanks
