Situations where there are 2 customers in a Conversation?

We are creating a set of external "journey dashboards" that visualizes a Conversation's participants in a different way. Does Genesys allow the existence of 2+ customers on a single Conversation somehow?

I tried doing it as an agent but Genesys would always create another Conversation. I'm wondering if there is a hard rule in Genesys that prevents this OR this is possible via an API for some unique use-cases.
