Unable to "Configure external routing of Salesforce chats"

I am trying to integrate Genesys Chats in salesforce using "External Routing" as shown in this document . I followed this and moved to the next step as defined here.

But at the end, while generating a button (the code to embed the button), it gives me a snippet as shown below. Now the snippet uses a "liveagent" class (line 7&8) , which is not defined anywhere. And there should be another (or more) JS file(s) to be included.

I think this question would be better on a Salesforce forum as this specific code relates to the Salesforce/Service Cloud Chat button.

I must say I don't have any expertise on this.
But assuming this relates to the Live Agent Deployment API Code sample, liveagent reference likely comes from the Deployment code you are supposed to add to your page.
