Web messaging count unread message ro show number of unread message on lunch button

Hello,

We would like to show to the client the number of unread message on the lunching botton of the messaging.

Example: " the agent send two message that has not been read by the client yet, so the client can see on the luncher button a small number '2' that notice him that he have two unread message"

For that we need to count the number of unread message by the client we don't find any way to do it.

Can you please provide us more information to do that.

Was this request resolved? I am looking for the same feature to count the unread message from the agent in the client side.

This is something we will solve as part of our Product Roadmap > Genesys Cloud Ideas Portal
Definitely good improvement, but no ETA for now.
