Is there a way to hide and show the chat button based on a schedule at Genesys cloud level (logic to be hosted at GC end and not on customer portal)?

Hi Amit, this sort of scheduling is not currently supported, though can be done via business logic on the webpage as you've mentioned.

I know you prefer Genesys to control the scheduling, but if you do have access to the customer portal you can try the following GC Github code to check the same Genesys Cloud schedule that you presumably use to determine opening hours in the flow:
